Jennifer Garner Steps Out Solo On The Oscars Red Carpet … And Kills It

Jennifer Garner is back … in black. 

Yes, that was an “Alias” reference for those who remember the star’s infamous entrance in the series’ post Super Bowl episode. 

After spending months out of the public eye, Garner has returned in a big way this week, first with a candid profile in Vanity Fair and now with a major moment on the Oscars red carpet. 

“The Dallas Buyers Club” actress, who supported her estranged husband Ben Affleck when “Argo” took home the award for Best Picture in 2013, stepped out solo for the 88th annual Academy Awards and, heads up, she’s never looked better. 

This is the first major event Garner has attended since the debut of her Vanity Fair interview, in which she broke her silence on her much-discussed separation from Affleck in June of last year. 

“It was a real marriage,” Garner told the magazine. “It wasn’t for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work.”

“[Ben’s] the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous,” she added.  “He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”

If this red carpet appearance is any indication, Garner’s found her own sun. You know her “person” channeled Cristina Yang before the show like …
